POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Dishwasher, you’re an essential part of the team that keeps our restaurant running smoothly! You’ll help create a clean, safe, and organized environment by keeping dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and ready for service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish area, including floors, sinks, equipment, and surrounding workspaces.
• Receive, organize, and put away restaurant deliveries and food orders, ensuring products are stored safely and in their designated areas.
• Assist with light food preparation as directed, such as washing produce, portioning ingredients, or completing other basic prep tasks.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean waste and storage areas.

WORK PREPARNESS AND REQUIREMENTS: 

• Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot kitchen areas and refrigerated/freezer storage areas when putting away deliveries.
• Exposure to moderate to high noise levels from dish machines, kitchen equipment, and restaurant activity.
• Regular exposure to detergents, sanitizers, and other approved cleaning chemicals.
• Food Handler certified, or willing to obtain certification upon hire
